DDA Listen to the Public Suggestions Related To Land Pooling Policy

On Monday, DDA conduct a public hearing related to land pooling policy. It is where the stakeholders are welcomed to give their suggestions and objections related to this policy. The officials of DDA said that “one of the common objections and suggestions received by DDA are pertaining to overall fixation of the charges of FAR (Floor Area Ratio).

More than three hundred stakeholders

The DDA official told that “the individual hearing of individuals who had previously filed their observations, objections, and suggestions was conducted on Monday. There are more than stakeholders are welcomed at first, though, only thirty-five of them now turned up. The stakeholders filed objections completely pertaining to a fixation of a FAR amount. Also, farmers urged Delhi Development authority to add the agricultural land in this land pooling policy, rather than the plots that are purchased by them.”

Even distribution

There is an even distribution of the land in respective landowners through this policy, added by the official. In before, the urban department is told that it will appear as both the planner and facilitator for the expeditious implementation of land pooling policy.

Limit the FAR

In June, the Federation of Housing Societies and Developers has conducted a demonstration at Delhi Development authority, increasing concerns over the proposal of DDA to limit FAR under this policy to about 180 as opposed to four hundred that is mentioned in the notification of 2013.
The agency will also be handling the public hearing process on Tuesday.
